Hi, we are designing a shop where people make there own reservation off different kind's of culture projects in he city Utrecht. It's a small space.
I designed a wall with a curtain. I like to put on this curtain different kind's of bags for flyers in different sizes like A6, A5 and A4. Do you have mabey some idees for this wall how to make a strong curtain wall with dispersion of translucent bags. The feeling of curtain is importent. On the other side there's also a curtainwall that we used for projection of videoclips etc. The highed of the space is 2670 mm. The curtain will be 2100 high and about 2400 long.

Hi, be sure I will do everything I can to help you, but please give more information:
it must be a curtain hanging of the ceiling, or it could be a supported rigid material in the ground ?
It will be much better if u post some photos of the space, and/or sketches...
I am wating for your answer, I am anxious to collaborate.

Hi,

Hereby the file. The company who makes this curtainwall makes a small sample but I didn't like the sample because it is to heavy and gives not a soft curtain feeling.
I' will hope somebody have a idea...

When you say curtain, i have in my mind an interesting new material just seen on Stockholm Furniture Fair past edition.
I'm not sure how you would like to integrate the screen for projection here, but... let me show you, and then comment.
The material is like textil

Exploring a bit more on the "new courtain" concept.
Here i show you a courtain quite transparent, made of small pieces of vynil, fitted like a "puzzle".
Very cheap solution, specially if you want to imply some client's friends to a relaxing handwork (nice excuse hehe)

ok, let's comment, and of course, don't be afraid saying this is not what you're looking for... i prefer the sincerely than the "correctly"... always

What type of cultural projects people will find there?
Do you have any concept for the space?

Hi

ok, that does not tell me much... I can help you if you give me a bit more info.

As you mention " custom made curtain " .
What is the main idea of the shop besides reservations of cultural projects?
What kind of cultural projects?
Who is your targeted group?

Just some basic info. I need before I give you any hint of what could work from my side.

Thanks

Hi I am a weave textile designer, and have designed curtains with pockets in to hold various objects, here is one with glass inside. halo is made from linen and silk, and the linen has high tensile strength to hold the objects.
ripple is made from hemp and cotton and would be ideal for projection onto as it is natural but has an interesting texture.
These curtains could be ordered using other materials and/or colours.
The other possibility is a double weave fabric which I have used in many of my designs, one side can have a completely different material/colour to the other.
