
Dojo have designed and built the new website for Proven Energy, the world's leading supplier of small scale wind turbines.
Making it easy for users to find information and to purchase a wind turbine was one of the main goals the site had to accomplish. By communicating effectively with Proven Energy's marketing team, we opted for a step-by-step approach in each of the three main sections. Each section is dedicated to either potential wind turbine buyers, businesses wishing to become turbine resellers, and support for customers who already own a turbine.
Dojo also created a locator map in which users are able to search for resellers or turbines in their area by typing in a postcode, address or region. The locator map is powered by a database and fully updatable by Proven Energy who can 'geo-code' new entries.
Utilising new technologies, Google Translate was also added to the site so the user can switch to the desired language, saving time and money on translation services.
A lot of time was also spent by Dojo on the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) which has helped propel the site to top-ten search engine rankings for key words and phrases. For example, when searching "small wind turbines', the site has gone from 5th page in Google, to 2nd spot on the 1st page.
The whole site has been built using w3c standards and is viewable on a variety of media.
